I have received my new MCX-4 amp and I need to know how to setup the trigger configuration. Unfortunately, there was no trigger cable in the box... why? So I used my (stereo) trigger cable which I got from NuPrime together with my MCH-K38 and HD-AVP. I connect the HD-AVP trigger-out to the MCX-4 trigger-in. My questions:
- Do I need to press the power button on the front of the MCX-4 or not?
- Should the blue light indicator always be on in trigger mode?
- Will the MCX-4 also turn off when I shut down the HD-AVP?

Update: Found the answer by playing around! 

Solution:
- Power button should not be pressed or used at all. The correct setting is with the power button in "off" mode (unpressed)
- The blue light indicator works as it should (off when the amp is not running)
- The MCX will be controlled by the source system and turn on and off as expected
