We have demonstrated in the last 2 years that our amps are designed with upgradeability in mind. Our philosophy is to take care of existing customers so that they do not have to pay more than necessary to move up to the next performance level.
Examples:
1) Ref 8 is being still supported.
2) P-8 has full trade in credit toward P-9
3) 50Wx2 IA-7 can upgrade to 100Wx2 IA-7 for less than the new price of 100Wx2 IA-7 (called IA-7E)
etc

Well I'm confused.  Is the "Ref 10"  different to the Ref 9 V2?

The yet to be announced Ref 10 is a future product model number and there is no guarrantee that it will be released.
V2 is our version 2.0 amplifier technology that we are applying across the entire product line and all future products.  Well, it is the "CPU" of all our amplifier products.

Ref-10 V3 is now on the website: Cross Matrix Array and high power - is it real? Will the upgrade from Ref-9 SE V3 be in the same chassis, or will it upgrade to the new stealth design as well? What about pricing?

Curious!!!

Will there be module upgrades also to the MCH-300SE-C7  ?

Iḿ  would like to upgrade L & R &possibly the Center also.  Any possibilities in the product roadmap   ?

We are still in the process of tuning the sound of Ref 10, and will provide upgrade pricing when it is released. Basically Ref 10 is nearly identical to Ref 20, so both products are going through the testing and tuning phase.

I am not sure it makes enough difference in sound quality to offer CMA cap array for MCH.

Whilst you are waiting for Jason and the Nuforce team to finish their tuning on the Ref 10 here is a link from CES to keep your interest up re upgrading your Ref 9 to Ref 10 when the upgrade becomes available.

My target  was more about to get extra power due to power hungry speakers (and quality).  Currently I run in bi-amp mode and I would need some more power to the main R + L  with  these new upgrades  (usage: multichannel mode  R+L+C + 2x sides + 2x surrounds)  or add powerful extra 2ch amp  for L+R because bi-amping takes 2 channels away from package of 7 speaker amplification.
