Title: iPurifier 2 micro USB question: Feedback appreciated!
Post by: Pez on 14 Apr 2017, 06:31 pm
We are trying to accommodate a trend in the industry toward Micro USB. We have a couple of options we are considering and would appreciate your feedback to help us get a better idea of what folks are interested in.

The product in question is the iPurifier 2. Despite being diminuative, the iPurifier 2 cannot accommodate the tiny micro USB connector so we have opted instead for a micro USB pigtail to connect to a more standard plug for the iPurifer 2. This solution makes sense, however, we could do this in a couple different ways. So here is our question:

Which configuration do you prefer?

Option One - iPurifier 2 with USB TYPE A CONNECTOR with pigtail to Micro USB:

The main benefit being you could connect this with relative ease to the Micro iDSD Black Label without the use of a secondary adaptor. Another benefit is extended USB cable runs (turns them from passive to active)

Option Two - iPurifier 2 with USB TYPE B CONNECTOR with pigtail to Micro USB:

The main benefit with this configuration is it is definitely more universal.

Please vote for your favorite option and we would love your comments and feedback as well.
