Point me in the right direction re building NAS music server?

Seriously considering a MW Transporter - I know, what took so long... - so I am investigating building a NAS music server. Can any any of you fine gentlemen point me towards a forum or site with info?

The Computer Audiophile Forum is a good one.  it has some good links and info.

I would assume there are more technical forums out there, too. I just googled "building a music server" and got a lot of info.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out.
There are so many options, I hope I can wade though it all without losing my way. 
I just had a conversation with the IT guys about what they would recommend and it was something of a fire drill.  :duh:  :lol:
