For sale is a Technics SL1700 direct-drive semi-automatic turntable with auto-return tonearm. This unit is in quite good condition and seems to work perfectly.
Price reduced to $179 + shipping (from Jamaica @$120). Total = $299. PayPal-Gift option acceptable.
[Edit; 25-3-18]
Offer valid only for this weekend (as an incentive for a quick sale and to meet a deadline) after which the price will probably be adjusted back to a more normal level.
[BTW, I'm told that my location 'could constitute a dis-incentive,' and so this is my initiative to counter that and to meet my deadline.]

Very beautiful table, a vintage bargain.

Sorry, what is "ono" ?

Where are you located?

TT will be posted from Jamaica. [Edited; my own excess chatter. :nono:]

Bump!!! 8)
[Quieter, more accurate, and more neutral than many high-end TTs such as my own TD125 and vintage LP12. Nice with its own arm, and devastatingly outstanding with the likes of an Ittok on the side, IME - embarrassingly good. A bone-fide giant-killer.]

A coupla questions:
is that price in USA or Jamaica dollars?
is the voltage 120 volts?
is the cps 50 or 60?
thanks for your time
-
Ha, ha!!! That's a good one. No, it's US$. And shipping cost could be left to a choice by the buyer between price-points from $95 to $145.
This unit operates from a US-type wall-socket at 120 volts.
Also; "Technics are designed to run at 50Hz and 60Hz, so you will have no problems in that area."
Got that quote from a thread on a DJ web-site called FutureProducers.com. Yes, my own SL1700 works with either 50hz or 60hz current (@120v) but I think so do all DD Techies, with regard to the cycle issue.
Cheers 8)
PS
Ittok in previous pic not included in sale, BTW :nono:

[BTW, I'm told that my location 'could constitute a dis-incentive,' and so this is my initiative to counter that and to meet my deadline. Of the 4 TTs I have listed here, I'd prefer to hold on to my 2 favourites and sell the others - and the prices reflect that - which partly explains why the Techie can be offered at this give-away price.]

you have PM
-
Nope!
Pl see my own PM.
Thanx.
PS
OK, yeah, I see it now - you were the one who'd asked about the 50/60 cps issue. Still, that's a post - not a PM, if that's what you referred to in your subsequent PM.
Cheers :thumb:

Price reduced to $129 + shipping.
Offer good for TODAY, definitely (doubtful whether it will be extended).

The title says " ... reduced to $179 ..." and the text says "... reduced to $129 ...". Which is it?
-
So sorry. That should be $179. If interested let me know (PM?) as I'm very motivated to sell it TODAY. obviously.
