This proposition has been bouncing around in my head for a week or two.
What would these speakers sound like if mounted in an Open Baffle configuration?
One is dual concentric. The other is the Bass Woofer.
I read somewhere once that the downfall of the FSM speaker is the
box it is in.
Personally I listen at 75db max so I am unsure how much the
cabinet ever comes into play?
I am very happy with the sound as it stands so this concept
may be a complete fools errand.
I do not think Clayton at Spatial does a dual concentric model
and I would think he would have already tried and rejected it.
For my ears dual concentric speakers-from anyone- sound superior.
Any thoughts on this one?
