Title: Modified Constant Current Source for Octal Cornet?
Post by: library on 10 Mar 2004, 08:26 am
Hello all,

Rescently I noticed that the updated Cotnet manual has been posted. Thanks for your effort, Jim.
I watched there have been a change on the schematic for a better constant current source. I think new modification is better.

Then can you please post modified constant current source for octal cornet, Jim?

ps. At page 4, sonic upgrade part, I cannot find a gold plated RCA jacks with #S-H276R or H. The actual part # was S-H267R (or H).

Current sink is same as it always has been.  The addition of the 220 ohm resistor in the collector doesn't do anything electrically, just makes the layout easier (jumps traces).

For octal version, use 510 ohms for the emitter resistor.

jh :)
