The Denon DVD-2900 is out now (street price @ $800) and the results are fairly positive that this is a great little machine in all areas. It uses the highly praised burr-brown DACs. Seems like this player is the perfect player for your tube mods, especially since it can remotely turn off its video section when playing back audio.
I wondered whether you have had a look at this player yet or had thought of offering your mods?

To be honest, I am fighting a cold right now and am so buried in work that I don't have time to pursue any new players at the moment. I am not saying that we won't offer mods for this player, but not right now.
Thanks,
Dan W.
