My better half thinks that it would be a better result if I just built n2xs with new cabinets with the same Makore veneers.  The speakers hang from the ceiling and the N3s seems to be to large to miss with one's head.  So.... I noticed in the pictures the cabinet is trapezoidal in cross section, but the plans show it as rectangular.

Is the correct approach to making the trapezoidal cabinet to add an inch onto each side of the front and subract one from each size of the back?

And is the non-rectangualr version worth the extra effort?

That will probably get you close on volume, but you will have some "interesting" angles to cut for the corner joints.  I would build square if you are not experienced with woodworking.

Here is the original cabinet that Danny used for the N2X speakers.

These have curved sides and are now the correct volume for the kit.

I used the rectangular PE cabinets for my N2X's.
