SW-12B + Apex Junior

A good setup for a really small room at really low cost would be this amp at only $89.95:

Then one of our SW-12B's in a 1.0 cubic foot sealed box, only $99.

Then build your own MDF box...

Didn't want to thread jack too much in the servo sub post.  Any bracing required or just a basic box?  Any dampening material required or recommended?  The GR site has 1.2 cubic feet for sealed on the SW-12B.  Is this incorrect?

The Apex Junior is discontinued.  I called Apex to verify.  The Apex Senior is still available at $145.

They have M&K 150W for $100

http://www.apexjr.com/MnK100MP.htm

or 250W for $120

Thanks!

Yes, 1.2 cubic feet is more optimal.

Yes, I'd add some bracing and would also line it with No Rez unless you are really trying to do the whole thing on the cheap side (which is fine).

You can do a sand lined box on the cheap and get really good results too, as you can get a 50 pound bag of play sand for about $4.00.

If there is room in your budget then the Apex Sr. is the best of those amps.
