Room Measurements and Treatment options
« on: 22 Sep 2022, 05:14 pm »
I’m re visiting a topic which I’ve ignored for too long and now that I’ve got my system humming, I know this is my weak link.  So how do I go about measuring my room ?  I’m not an EE and only have a Mac based system.

The weak link now is bass, I’m missing an octave or two I’m sure and want to get to the bottom of it before investing in any more equipment.

I also get some sibilance and am sorting that out as well.

TIA.

The software is amazing.  You might need an interface although I think it will work with a proper USB measurement microphone.

There are many people on here who will help you learn and interpret the measurements.  REW also has their own forum.
