Thinking about a get together!

Anyone here in the NorCal circle interested in having a get together?

I do have a new Joe Curcio RIAA phono pre with the Hagerman Bugel power supply as well as a Marchand Bassis, all DIY, to show off.

If people are interested, please let me know and perhaps we can schedule something the first part of May!

I would love to!  I always seem to miss the impromptu gatherings that Berndt throws.  I just finished a Cornet2 phono stage, so would love to hear another design!  Early May may be  problematic for me, but if I can I will be there!

Absolutely, I'd love to compare the Cornet 2 to the Curcio.  What is the setting of the Cornet 2?
I am using the shelter 501 so, it's output is only .4 mv.

I am currently using a Soundsmith Voice. It is moving iron with an output of about 2mV.  Although the Cornet2 is a MM phono pre with 44dB gain, I have run a van den Hul Frog @ .65mV. It worked fine, perhaps just a tad more tube rush was apparent.

Yeh, don't know if that would work, but we can try...I do have a step up handy as well.
