ZMF is offering an upgrade driver to the Auteur model so I took them up on the deal ($400.00).
Wasn't sure how it would work out and was without them for a couple of weeks but it was quicker than the
month they advertised. Got them back and have to say it was definitely worth the time and money. The new
drivers have more detail than before and kept the sound signature the same (I was afraid it might change) and
seem to have better impedance though they don't advertise that. It may be the fact that they have better definition
that I don't have the volume up as much. Overall I am delighted with the Auteur improvement and can recommend
it to anyone thinking about it.
