Is STAX SRM-252 intended for the STAX Lambdas (from 1987), or not?

Hello from Norway. I have a STAX Lambda SR-L300 from 1987, simplest version. Which still works, except that the original amplifier has stopped working, so I bought a used STAX SRM-252S DRIVER as a replacement. The problem is that the plug does not fit. The distance between the pins is smaller on the STAX SRM-252S DRIVER than on the headphones.

Is not SRM-252 intended for the Lambdas? Or has STAX changed the plug at some point over the years?

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks.

Aha, exactly, there I learned something new. And that means I'm stuck with a Stax SRM-252 that I can not use. Ok, my mistake, I'll try to sell it again. Thanks for the good info.
