Q7 part of World's best audio system in 2012?
I could not disagree more.
I was recently on a quest for a new pair of speakers, something that would put an end in my search for components that would quench my thirst for better performers, Q5 and Q9 were high on my list based on rave reviews, but once I heard Q9 I simply could not understand those people that call them anything beyond mediocre performers.
I gave them really good chance, in well treated room, with numerous electronics, with various recordings, they simply did not perform nowhere near their cost, they are truly overpriced marketing hype.
Previous iterations in V series (2 and 3) were even less memorable.
So really enormous Hmmmm......

Who's providing the synergy? Or did they just throw in a bunch of expensive stuff and hope for the best?

Hmmmm....

When it comes to this stuff, I break out in hives as soon as anybody declares a " World's Best " anything.
But I guess declaring " A Bunch of Components That A Number Of People Could Be Really Happy With Or At Least Perhaps Grow To Tolerate  ( But Not Everybody, Mind You )" isn't really very sexy, is it ?

Just another interesting note D.D.

Does anyone remember the Marantz 2270 receiver as advertised in a magazine form the 70's which was pulled from a home after a fire and still worked? Well the best audio system for 2012 survived such an ordeal. God Bless this guy...

Ha!  A Philadelphia video, and an old one to boot.  610 Sports Radio had moved to the FM dial sometime in 2011.  So this particular product example, despite it's outstanding fidelity to the musical source, could only be the best of 2011.
