WTB : Audio rack

Hi there all.

Not sure if it is appropriate to post this here or not.  If not appropriate, please can the moderators remove.

I'm in the market for an audio rack.

Something single wide and around 29" high with three or four shelves would do the trick, and I have a preference for wood or wood shelving.

Let me know if you have something - text might be easiest - five one zero four zero zero 8131

Local to me is just outside Boston

Thanks!
Will

I assume you are in New England?

Somewhat local:

I think in their day these Cambre racks were considered pretty good.  They had some sort of resonance control grooves on shelf underside.  This model probably retailed for over $500.

Make an offer and ask seller to meet you halfway?

No affiliation whatsoever with the seller.

This Pangea Vulcan rack for $230 brand new shipped looks like a solid choice, but not sure if it meets your shelf (or budget?) requirements:

(I think the Carbon Fiber Vinyl looks sharp)

Hey Will,

I have a nicer Cambre rack than that picture with 4 shelves in black with curved fronts and rears on them.  They have the grooves on the underside that gives better sound over plain wood.  Mine also have the adjustable points from the Adona rack company plus the tubes are filled with silica sand for more stability and damping.  I cut my rods to fit my equipment at the time.  The spaces between are 8", 5", and 7".  It is 27"H.  It has a scratch on one of the shelves but you won't see it with components on the shelf.  The drawback is I'm in the Chicago area.  I would be wiling to sell it for $95 plus the cost of shipping.  This rack does sound better than an all wood shelf.  I have had two Star Sound Sistrum racks for the last 6 years so the Cambre has not been used.  It is about 9 years old.  It is in very good shape other than the one scratch.  There is also visible graining of the wood.
