In the McIntosh room, where there was so much stacked gear it looked like a wall of blue meters.

Attendee:  Does each piece of gear have a switch to turn off the meters?

McIntosh rep:  I'm sure they do, but why would you want to do that?

Attendee:  Because I'm not 8 years old.

But, I must admit, I think Mac gear is pretty.............Now if the stuff just performed as good as it looked, then perhaps I'd be impressed. Alas, it is another case of making something look impressive, then slapping an impressive price tag on it, and selling it to easily impressed people, who like too impress their friends and colleagues. Impressively LAME.
