Re-tipping a cartridge.

Looking for the best place to send a cartridge for re-tipping. Would appreciate anyone sharing their experiences and feedback. thanks Victor

Hi Victor,
I would start with Sound-Smith in NY. https://www.sound-smith.com/  Peter is a good guy and does real good work. He re-tipped a Benz LP for me, and I was very happy. Good place to start anyway.

I had my Sumiko Evo 3 done at Soundsmith highly recommend.

+1 Soundsmith.  You may find one or two other options, but these guys set the standard for continued excellence and knowledge.

Peter is the best, but just to help manage your expectations, the turnaround time may be longer than you'd like. I've been a SoundSmith customer for a while (my latest a SoundSmith Aida). I'm pretty loyal to him and his brand. If I was wanting a re-tip, he'd be my only choice.
