Title: Another business loss
Post by: Charles Calkins on 16 Nov 2020, 06:22 pm

Connelly and taylor funeral home in Martinez Ca. Is gone. I saw the for sale sign on the property this morning.
My late grandfather and brother in law were the Connelly side of the business. I think the business was established
in 1926. Kind of shocking that a funeral home would go out of business. DARN!!! What will I do when it's my time.
Or I should say What will my daughters do when it's my time to go. I'll probably wind up in a dumpster.

Both my mother and father pre-paid for cremation services approximately 10 years before they died. Both times, the process was smooth and hassle-free - and cost me nothing. I highly recommend this option if you have the funds and don't wish to slap your offspring with an expensive cremation/funeral.

    Michael:
Thank you I will look into that. Gotta do something. I'm a short timer.
