Today I started packing up my CD’s for the eventual retirement move. The vinyl will be next. As time goes on there will be less physical media and more streaming. So I’ll be trying out some of the albums that SlushPuppy and others here are listening too.

Are you retiring P-Man? Where you headed? I first retired in 2008 after 25 years in the Navy. Lasted three weeks before moving to Houston for my current job. I almost retired for good when COVID-19 killed the aviation industry and I got furloughed in early April. I guess three months off cleared my head and I was eager to get back when I got the call about three weeks ago. My wife will retire from Exxon in a couple of years. She already has 30 years there as a project engineer. I think I can last that long and we'll likely retire together. Working from home now really helps. We'll be moving too. Somewhere cooler than Houston, although we both love it here. Probably around Lake Norman in North Carolina, or along the coast of Maine. Somewhere close to a couple of breweries and a few good restaurants  8)

Good luck to you and Mrs. P-Man on the move!

Bushart - Yesterday Is History (2008)

Featuring the late John Lever (The Chameleons) on drums. Really good.
