C&C Aiyima T9 based system

The tubed $100 Aiyima T9 includes a remote, a built in DAC with coax, optical, USB inputs and blue tooth. Sounds amazing driving the $200 DIY Frugal Horn Mk3s while its sub-out feeds a $150 DIY Triska subwoofer. The Tone Board DAC set me back about $79 but the T9's internal DAC is good enough. The T9 is being replaced by the T9 Pro which costs more but sounds the same. Other companies also sell the T9 under different names. Here I'm streaming Amazon Music HD using a Fire Stick 4K ( $25 ) into an HDMI audio extractor ( $25 ).

Some of the reviews mentioned glitches with the T9 but that's not the case with this late production unit.

I'm thinking about trying either the T9 or the Pro. Currently have the A07 amp with Sabaj D05 DAC at my desk running NHT SuperOnes and a sub. Really pleased with that setup.

Need something in my living room for my 95dB sensitive Tektons. Can't decide if I want to move the A07/Sabaj there, or maybe a T9 instead.

I'll keep procrastinating about it.

I also have an Aiyima A07 but prefer the warmth the tubes give the T9. The A07 is more powerful but not by much.

T9 is better than APPJ?

Not better but different. Different is easy while better is a lot more difficult. Different can be loads of fun.

But if I could only have one it would be APPJ.
