And Doug Schroeder is a guy who's been around, had more than his fair share of elite gear. For him to be so enamored with the Nimbus is very exciting for us! We knew our speakers could hang with anything at any price, but there's always that voice of doubt in the back of your head saying "you're not as good as you think you are". This quiets that voice for today at least

Good read. Experienced the Nimbus White at the 2014 RMAF show. One of the very best speakers I have ever heard, and nothing can touch it for the money.

If I bring a bottle of 21 yr old Single Malt Scotch to Axpona, is there any chance it'll help me curry favor should I ask for a special audition? (Gasp. It might be poor form, but I had to ask.)

Special auditions are always entertained!!!

We don't know what show hours are in the Vapor Room. We listen until we're done, or someone in the next room tells us to turn it down. (Actually happened at Axpona last year!)

Congratulations Ryan! I see you were able to build RAAL, Accuton and Acoustic Elegance speakers at 93db efficiency. Very Kewl! I bet they really do kick ass.

I'm a little unsure about the statement "This company ... was approached to craft a bass driver with the power handling capability of a PA speaker and the acoustic sensibilities of an audiophile speaker" - Nick McKinney as Lambda Acoustics designed the TD15H back in about... 2001?

It's the bass driver that sets the system sensitivity, and the one we're using is nothing like that in the Soundscapes. Also that our cabinet is over 7 cu/ft. In fact, Doug Schroeder has reviewed the Soundscape 10 in the past, and directly compares the two inside the Nimbus review.
