Hi Frank, Larry. When my rebuilds by you where done, some long time ago, it was a night and day improvement over the original Hafler ckts and Dyna originals. The sound was such a transformation, in all aspects of sound. The original Hafler DH500 had a slew of about 40V/uS..your Omega jumped to like 500V uS. I think, that's a BIG improvement!! now the OmegaStar is up still to like 800V u/S.?!!! When do you think it becomes inaudible? And other parameters are more important. Cus' that is one fast amp. The current Hafler 9505 is nothing near your abilitys. It seems that fast slew rates sure do make the amps come alive with such natural sparkle and transparency...Maybe now with SACD as a source, it's even more important, maybe 800V u/S is not the end?
