Just picked these up. Where else can you find 600 watt monoblocks for this kind of $. Can't wait to integrate them into my system.

I would love to hear what you think of them in your system. What is the amp they are replacing?
The boom boxes are a nice touch.

They'll be replacing a Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP integrated with KT150 power tubes. Going to a Primaluna Evo 300 tube preamp to feed the AVAs. The Sopras dip down to 2 ohm and I need the additional power the 600s can provide to drive them properly

They've landed. Sound amazing, I'm impressed with the amount of control they exert on the Focals.

as far as used gear brokers, they do pretty good. bought my fet valve RB thru them coupla months ago. took some struggle--they had it priced as a fet valve CFR. i had to do some teaching--man, i hate having to teach salespeople about what theyre selling--but hey, it finally sank in and they sold it to me for the correct price.

those amps are some beautiful monsters.

The dynamics of these amps are pretty incredible, the Sopras have really come alive and have huge bass, even without the subs. To be honest, the soundstage holography doesn't seem as 3d like I was getting with tubes for amplification, (which is probably just euphonic tube distortion), but the power, control, and attack they bring, more than makes up for my perceptions of differences. Some of that may be due to the fact the preamp is brand new and has less than 40 hours on it. The vocals also seem a bit closer, like you're right up on the mic instead of a few feet back, so a little different presentation than I have been used to. When things get loud, these things don't skip a beat, details that would normally get lost in difficult passages with the Primaluna now come through loud, strong and clear, without a hitch. The system now will play louder and clearly at levels far above where I care to listen. Plenty of power. And don't get me wrong about the soundstage, the micro dynamics are still there, even more so, just without the tube amplification "swirl" I guess you'd call it. I MUCH prefer these over the old setup. Truly amazed at what they can do, and for around 3k used from TMR there wasnt/isn't a better value out there.
