There are plenty of high power SS amps that don't get that hot. The Parasound A21 comes to mind as I use to use it with my Maggies.  It just got warm.  Now my Pass amp gets very hot but it runs in class A for the first 15 or 20 watts.

Nandan,

Nice looking system.

I might ask if you are using Single Ended or Balanced  from the DAC-10 to the AMPS?

I have tried with both, and the top-end volume doesn't seem to change[1]. It's loud, just not as much I would like for Rock, although it's fine for Jazz, and middling for Classical. In any case, I mostly appreciate that my system doesn't have that so-loud-the-neighbors-knock character, but I would like the option to have people tell me "it's too loud, could you turn it down please!"

To answer your question, I was using Balanced because with Unbalanced I cannot use the volume controls on the DAC-10H
