AMG STA with Dac 10

AMG STA with Dac 10

I have read so much of the AMG STA amp and all seems very positive and better in resolution than the ST10 amp but needs a good source or dac to shine. Has anyone tried it with the Dac 10 as compared to Dac 10 ST10 combo?  How would it fare as I have the latter and would like to keep the Dac 10 as the pre-amp but couldn't find any feedback on AMG +Dac 10 combo. Any feedback would be appreciated as I have no way of auditioning the STA.

DAC-10 is very neutral and detailed. So the ultimate decision should be your music preference. www.hifi-advice.com has done review for ST-10 and AMG-STA. Both amps are equally well rated, each has its strength. I suggest to re-read the reviews.
The new $4995 stereo Evolution STA (shipping later this month) is designed to combine the best characteristic of ST-10 and AMG STA.

Thanks for the response. No impression was mentioned in that review of STA with Dac 10 or am I missing something? I'll wait for the new Evo to be reviewed and decide from there.
