Beethoven Symphonies/Choral Works

Martha Argerich used to perform many of Beethoven's works for the piano. She gradually faded into the background; however, she and Seiji Ozawa have reappeared, working together - - a delightful pair of "senior citizens."

Their performance of Beethovens Choral Fantasy is superb! (I've never seen her fingers move so fast)

Nice. That piece was always a dark horse, not often performed in concert, but very musical. I think it was a "dry run" for Beethoven, in preparing for writing his masterpiece, the Ninth.
