MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Apology For Delays

May 27, 2021

Hi Folks,

My sincere apology to all our customers for the delay is responding to repair and filling order inquiries.

We have been locked down now 3 times over the last year and a half in Ontario due to COVID and currently locked down till the middle of June.  We can only have limited people in the plant at a time and as expected the backlog of repairs and filling new orders has deteriorated. There is also a world-wide parts shortage that is causing serious delays in critical components required to manufacture our products.

We are doing our best to work through this and hopefully there is a light at the end of this tunnel soon.

We at Bryston deeply appreciate the understanding our customers have exhibited.

Looking forward to a better year soon.

Best

James

I'm sure everyone understands that some things are simply beyond your control.

It'll get better!

The lockdown in Ontario has been probably the most strict compared to other spots around the planet.
Hopefully people will understand the challenges most companies are going through in these difficult times.

Things are on a path to being better. Soon all will be right in the world again. :)

That may well be true but it sure didn't look that way on the May 24th weekend in the Kawartha area cottage country.

Yes it sure does look like a double standard for business vs public.

Dont feel too alone James......Alberta has its fair share of double standards during these
lockdowns as well.
With any luck the next two months will bring some normalacy...
Good luck and take care.

Industry professionals I've spoken to profess parts shortages until mid 2022, maybe until 2023. It's really tough to be a manufacturer these days!

The safety of your employees are priority.  Glad to see Bryston remains strong to core values!

Please thank your employees for their flexibility and find a way how keep shipping product and servicing equipment.

PS. CONGRATULATIONS on your new role(CEO)!

It will. And James, I'm sure Bryston customers understand. However, as soon as things get back to normal, I will be sending my still relevant SP3 for the new HDMI 4k board upgrade. 8)
