Sorry to hear about Churchill, Ryan. With a name like that, perhaps you'd have an interest in this.

FWIW, many years ago I had a (pet) skunk I named Piwacket, which I think I misspelled after Googling.

Hi Ryan and all Audio Circle members.

It's not my cat, but if it was,
Clementine would be the name of my pussy cat.
I thought of Blondie,
but Clementine sounds better for a cat.

My sincerest condolences.

We had to put 2 cats down in the last 6 months, 16 and 18 years old.
Friday we had to put down our 18 year old "Mugsy" he was with me constantly for 16 of those years.
Completely understand.

Well, the girls came up with such winners as sprinkes, lu lu, and skittle.  So as of right now, she doesn't have an official name
I gave Tina the choices available, and she's going for "Sprinkles'.

I'd name her "Valkyrie's Wrath". Something with a little kick.  :thumb:

Well, since your Churchill has gone (my sympathies), why not Winnie?

Bummed I missed your new arrival by just a day. So fun seeing your whole family excited about the new arrival though.

Here's to new faces (and paws and whiskers)!

She's adorable. My wife is excited you found a new addition to the family. This is the only thread on AC that she cares about.

I'm glad you found a new kitty perhaps you should give the name Winston in honor of Churchill?

+1 That's perfect. Not over the top cutesy, but still obviously a girl's name.
Or just name her Miss Bojangles and be done.

If it were my cat I'd be partial to Winnie.  My dad had a Rot/Australian Sheperd mix that was the sweetest/coolest dog ever (and I still own a dog) named Winnie.

Sorry man, Churchill looks exactly, I mean to the tee, like Tailpipe, my cat of 11 years who turned up missing one day. It was not easy as Tailpipe was the only stable relationship I had. (It's all good now ;)

Take good care,
Michael

Sorry to hear about the loss of your little buddy.

I have a tabby named Billy that looks a lot like your boy. I dunno what I'd do if I lost him! He did go missing for three weeks at 7 months of age. Some local thought he was a stray and took him home but I got a tip and confronted the person and got my cat back. I put signs around the neighborhood and the person didn't live far but never contacted me about having the cat and even had the nerve to ask if I still wanted him! I remember thinking I'd rather know he's passed than him just dropping off of the planet and never knowing his fate. Here's hopping you do have closure.

Reading further down the thread it's really great you found a nice orange kitten!

Here is my Billy at around the time he went missing.

I also found an orange tabby one time in my back yard that was in terrible shape but had a collar with a tiny barrel I opened and it had the owners phone #. I returned the cat to very happy owners who said he'd been missing for 6 weeks!

You never know...

PS How about "Cheddar" as in the orange cheese!
