BePure 1 Monitors in curly walnut

Kevin wanted a pair of BePure 1's in curly walnut with a dark walnut dye and burst edges.

Here is a pic...

He is also getting a Rythmik 12" subwoofer in the same finish.

They are gorgeous. I’m going to try what you suggested by crossing them over around 50 Hz with the Sub. I’m going to put them atop of some custom Sound Anchor stands, same for sub. These BE-1 line should sell very well.

I have BePure 1's on order in Natural Curly Cherry standard finish although Jim is trying to whitewash-stain them to better match our home decor. Can't wait to see what they look like, let alone how they will sound.

I'm trying to get Noel at Skylan to build me a set of 20" tall stands for them.

Beatlebum, I went with custom 3 post Sound Anchor stands, but Skylan stands are great too. Please post pics when you get them. I’ve not taken mine out of the box yet.

I was going to wait until I moved to open the goodies, but I could not resist. Be careful with your hand placement when pulling the speaker out of the box. You could easily damage the passive radiators. I opted for a double run of WBT binding posts.

@ Boybees - I’m going to bi-wire with a double run of VH silver cable with furutech connectors. Plus I’ve the same WBT posts on my amp.

Right now a Cary SLI-80 fully optioned. Next will be either a Norma IPA-140 or an Ayon Triton tube amp. The Ayon has a choke based power supply which I love.

My sound anchor monitor stands should arrive this week for the BE-1’s. In the meanwhile I took hooked up the new subwoofer. My goodness! Without proper setup it still sounded incredible. You don’t even know it’s there. It adds so much to the soundstage.

Someone please buy my BEATS. And my Cary SLI-80 and DMS-700 too.

It would be interesting to “hear” your comparison of the monitors and the towers… not so much a which is better but how do they compare and contrast.
