Hi, I'm Jack7. I haven't been active here for a few years. Coming back on, my ID worked but password did not, and my previous posts are gone. Not a problem, just good cleanup work by moderators, I think. I have a Dodd Audio battery-powered Preamp and NX-Otica OB Speakers with a single GR Research dual driver sub. Love them all, a lot. I'm still playing/looking re amplifiers, but will be tubes for sure. I have two questions about the Dodd--1) does anyone have a schematic or instructions about how to add an external 12VDC power supply? 2) Any recommendations for 12VDC batteries (takes four 5Ah). 3) Any opinions/conclusions about best tubes?--I've used 6922, Blue Boys, and I'm going to try Modjeski's RAM 6922.
