Hi,

Today I had a interesting conversation with a very pleasant fellow from Melbourne Australia who had done significant work on his Acoustat 2+2 speakers and is interested in my direct drive amps.  He also feels that several Australian audiophiles he knows would be interested in the direct drive amps and actually building speakers from panels. As they say down under.. "good on ya"

For Brian and others I am bumping the post on my ESL as it represents another way to make such a speaker. I have been using the direct drive amps on my ESL now for over half a year and enjoy the added detail they provide over transformer drive.

I will also bump the direct drive post.

The amps are coming along for our ESL, the Quads and the Acoustats. We are working on a larger ESL with new styling. Anyone wanting a special price on the original ones as shown in the beginning of this post should let me know by making an offer.
