X2
« on: 15 Dec 2017, 02:00 pm »
Hi all, Looking to upgrade to an OB from Ref 3a GV's. I was wondering how a Tube amp (Decware Tori III) might mate with an X2. Concerned because X1 matched with SS by designer. Thanks, Happy Holidays.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Assume you're referring to the Spatial Audio X2 speakers.  From all accounts the Spatial Audio speakers thrive with big Class D amps.  From my limited experience with Decware integrated amps their "unique designs" makes speaker matching a crap shoot.  The 25 wpc Torii will drive the X2, but from all accounts not optimally.
