Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah is making some amazing contemporary jazz records to be so young at 37. Definitely worth a listen if you’re looking for something fresh.

By the way hi my name is Lionell and I am new to this form and I’m really liking some of the discussions I see going on here at audiocircle!

Christopher Hollyday, alto sax, the "young lion" bebop star from the 1990s.

He left the recording industry for 20 years while he taught and performed in So. Cal, but he has two new albums out in the past two years with a great young band, playing better than ever.

Bill Charlap. Possibly my favorite pianist, even more than the late Lyle Mays. Not that they're anything alike.

Not a fair question, but one should be Sonny Rollins, a giant - or should I say, the "Colossus".
