Title: X3 or X5 has anyone heard these yet?

I have the M3TS and I’m thinking of getting the X3’s . Has anyone gotten these yet? Can you give us a report on what you think of them.

The ones at the show a couple of weeks ago are probably the only ones so far.

Yes, I heard them in two rooms at Axpona recently and they are clearly a step about the Triode Master variants.  The LF has much more presence and the HF is is cleaner and clearer.  I think the Triode Master's are fantastic and they X3's are even more revealing.

The active powered bass drivers can overcome any bass reticence due to OB woofers in a difficult room, and the built-in DSP can also tailor the bass response as well, leaving your amp to do primarily midrange and treble is also a benefit. In the 2 rooms at AXPONA, the X-3s sounded best on Sunday and were some of the very best small rooms in 2019. The wood baffle sample Clayton showed me elevates the look above a painted finish, nicely done Spatial!
