System Overview

I've been building this System-A from 1998 when bought the new Krell KAV-300i. It was the base of my future system. Then I proceeded to replace older components from time to time. I completed the system with the new streamer last year and that's it. Only some technical problem would force me to buy something else. This system is located in my flat on the sixth floor of the building.

Rock, fusion, just some of jazz and classical. EL&P, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Massive Attack, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Yes, Genesis, Zappa, John McLaughlin and the fourth Dimension, Bach...

Room Description

Ordinary living room where you have to do some compromises because I am not the only one who lives there.

Acoustic Treatment

RoomTunes panels all around ceiling edges, thick carpet, heavy curtain over the window and absorber panel behind my back.

Listening Impressions

Very very satisfied with the sound produced by my system. Strong, fast and detailed bass, beautiful midrange and transparent but not harsh highs which is very important to me.

Media Storage

LP records are on the floor shelves, CDs on the wall shelves, files on SSDs. All media storages are in the living room.
