Sonny Rollins Contemporary Alternate Takes... basically recorded takes from his Way Out West and Sonny Rollins and the Contemporary Leaders lps from 1956 and 1958. Released in '86. Some takes longer (10' of I'm an Old Cowhand) and some shorter. Nice recording from Fantasy and Contemporary Records. With Ray Brown, Shelly Mann, Hampton Hawes, Barney Kessel.
