No worries, Jazzyguy. I DO hope you have Sinatra's "Only the Lonely" (Capitol) misplaced or something. Great arrangements, huh. Likewise for June Christy's "Something Cool" (also from Capitol) from the same time period. The title track is about as vivid a story and feeling as can be and she's palpably sitting right across the table, huh. How could I feel the story she tells at 14? Beats the shit outta me.

I have the two albums you mentioned.On the Something Cool album,I have the mono album as well as the Stereo album. She went back in to record it in Stereo. In those days you had to decide if you wanted to record in mono or in stereo.

I thought you might have at least one. Once I was in a club in Chicago to see CHRIS Conner and someone hollered out "Something Cool" and she politely said, "Uh, no, that's June CHRISTY". I don't have any of Ms. Conner's albums but I remember a single of hers, "All About Ronnie". Something tells me you will, too.

Wait! Wait! I DO have one of hers. "Live" is the title on the Applause label and "All About Ronnie" is on it! Fred Hersch is the pianist and it was recorded at "Sweet Basils". I'm there, dude, in about 5 minutes.

I can't remember who, but someone (mebbe Jazzy Guy or Jim?) recommended this and while it's only on the second track of Duke I'm liking it so far. Thanks!
