Hi i just bought a nad receiver from the late 80's- I seem to be picking up what sounds like am/fm static on the left channel, it comes and goes,
channel outputs fine, volume pot seems fine (have not deoxit yet). I have changed the speaker cable, which helps for about 5 minutes then it comes back. I have also shorted the phono rca input which also helps for about 5 minutes then goes away. Is this another bad cap? is it cheap to fix (i already paid almost 200 for it) or shall
i start my paypal dispute? (seller was in a more rural area, i am in an urban one) can anyone in the bay area fix for cheap or trade?
