Steve,

Is there any performace advantage over the Deluxe or Threaded Carpet Spike?  Also, what would you recommend between a speaker and stand?  Thin Fat Dots?

Though Deluxe Superior Carpet Spikes have more vibration-absorbing and vibration-blocking "beef" for loudspeaker and rack isolation/decoupling, sonic perfomance of Threaded Superior Spikes is equivalent. Major differences are physical, with each having functional advantages over the other in certain applications.

Big Fat Dots (or Square Fat Dots) usually do best as an interface between loudspeaker and stand.
