Well- the chassis is finished and wiring will commence soon. Bad weather, orders and computers have been keeping me exceptionally busy. January FLEW by!

The model going out is going to be a NS-40SE.

I will let everybody know when she's finished.

I am very anxious to hear your impressions of this amp on your Superflys. I ran a single blind test using my wife as the test subject. We compared my NS-40 versus a class d amp on our Zu Druid MkIV 08's. It took my wife about 10 seconds to declare her preference - the NS 40. Her words, "the difference is not subtle. The second one (ns-40) sounds better all around." She is not an audiophile and tolerates my obsession.

I am using the NS-40 in a tri-amp setup on Emerald Physics 2.7s currently. The NS-40 is driving the mid range. More details to follow, but I will say that I have a HUGE smile on my face.

Looks like we'll have a nice, long tour!

This amp will come with a unique tiger maple wrap. It's heartwood and has some very nice highlights in it. Thought I'd mention that since this particular wood is dense and should resist handling nicely.

The tour is going to take place- just give me a chance to catch up with my Niteshade work. The chassis is ready for wiring, but I have order obligations to fulfill before things get carried away.

The past several weeks have been taken up with multiple computer repairs and various other things, on top of orders that must be finished.

I have a NS-40 with the DC filament option driving 93 db Silverline Sonatinas in my 15 'X 30' listening room without breaking a sweat. on monday i am due to recieve a new pair of Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Baby Grands that Va specs at 91 db and i am curious to see how they do with the NS-40

everyone who hears this amplifier comments on how good it sounds.
