I wish you were closer. It's about 600 miles from Maine to Richmond. If it was half that I'd be on my way. I have a pair of HT2-TLs but the veneer is darker than the cherry. The cherry would match my center and surrounds (1801b and 1801TLs) perfectly.

I understand completely.  That's why speakers are sometimes hard to sell.  It's probably 12-13 hours of drive time for me.  If they were a fraction of that drive time, it would be really tempting.  I look all the time at hifishark.com.

I wish I could do better than local pickup.  I’ve toyed with buying boxes from Salk but I’ve been burned twice with speakers sent to me so am very hesitant to ship.  They are great speakers, unless someone buys them, I will enjoy them until my BePure 2s are ready.
