I am wondering if any one has the experience of replacing a Magnepan 1.7 to a Salk Sound speaker.
I like the Maggies but it they are different,  and I miss the effects of a traditional speaker. Hard for me to describe,  maybe dynamics (?).
So if I were to replace them with a Salk Sound, which  would be a good model for an upgrade? Budget under 5k for the pair.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I replaced Maggie 1.6 with Salt BeATs last year and been very pleased.  Only rarely do i miss the Maggies.
