VPMS Speakers not Working
« on: 25 Jan 2024, 02:01 pm »
I recently bought at auction a pair of VPMS speakers. Have not been able to determine the model, but they are 70” tall and have 7 speakers in each cabinet w/down facing 12” passive radiators in the base. On the back is a din plug where you normally would find a dial switch for the tweeters and miss. My guess is the speakers had an external crossover with din plug/connector. When I hooked up the speakers I get sound out of the 12” woofers, but not the tweeters or mids. Most likely will have to find some external crossovers. Any help on how to best fix this would be appreciated. I am by no means an expert and have little knowledge on how to fix. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks- John

Hi. I suggest you repost this at the VMPS circle.

Also, please add pictures of the speakers to help with identifying them.

Regards,
Ed

Take look here and see if any pictures match your speakers.  It would help if you could snap photo and post it here or in a thread you open in the VMPS Owners Circle.
