Was looking at the Furutech CF-601 M and 602f xlr connectors- do you have a recommendation on which xlr connector would be a good choice- using an all tube system- thanks

The best we have: http://www.soniccraft.com/product_info.php/neotech-nex-occ-rh-xlr-p-2023

Highly recommended: http://www.soniccraft.com/product_info.php/neotech-nc-06613g-xlr-p-2106

Best bang for the buck: http://www.soniccraft.com/product_info.php/xhadow-reference-xlrm-p-1557

All of the above are superior to the Furutech IMO.

For 4 items:

The best costs $262.50

Highly recommended costs $225.00

Best bang for the buck costs $252.00.

Is there something less than $200 for 4 pieces that is good for the money?

Jeff thanks- curious as to why you like the Neotech over the Furutech- I have no preference but always heard good things about the Furutech although if the Neotech is as good I do not mind saving some $$$$$$$$$$$-thks

Given the OPs query, my reply was appropriate, and accurate.  If you are looking for good value below that, you are looking at brass (and maybe bronze) allows.  In that category, a nice brass with direct Gold (pure) plate.  That would land us here: http://www.soniccraft.com/product_info.php/vampire-xlrf-p-1556 provided $8.39 per connector is in the budget.

The Furutech's reputation is good for a couple of reasons.  The company make considerable effort to achieve a good reputation.  The parts have good fit and finish.  They sound good.  The part I listed sound better.  This is likely due to the choice of pure Copper and Silver conductors vs Copper alloys and Phosphor Bronze.
