Note the addition of the eye bolt and the zip tie used to secure the speaker to the bracket in addition to the padded clamps on the side. Yes, that speaker wire is small (20 gauge) but as soon as it exits the wall, it is soldered to 14 gauge wire before crossing the room under the carpet. Replacing the smaller wire would involve drywall repair, and the resistance is only 3% of the total impedance for the surround speakers.
