Ebony Argos

We just shipped these and I love the way they look. (and sound) as always the pics do not do the job, but in person the combination of the ebonized walnut and the shape of the Argos is very elegant, or as some may say... sexy.

Nice - in what way does ebony affect the sound in comparison to either walnut or maple?

This is pretty, although knowing Lou and his speakers pretty well, I'll bet they are gorgeous in person.

A friend of mine has what I believe was the first pair of Argos shipped in Walnut and it is a stunning looking and sounding speaker. He isn't a hardcore Audiophile by any measure, but is very picky about sound quality and how things look. When Mike heard my Ulysses and saw the look, he was done shopping. He has had them for almost a year now and just loves everything about them. He commented to me that he never tires of listening to them, no matter the recording or volume level. Rogue Tempest integrated and a Marantz Blu-Ray player and it sounds better than 95% of the Audiophile systems I've ever heard and I've heard a bunch.

Great speakers.
