Title: virtue comparison to other amps
Post by: henrylr on 25 Mar 2016, 01:24 am
Does anyone know of a comparison of a Virtue Audio Sensation M901 or the , I think newer, ONE.3 with a Mccormack DNA 0.5? I'm seriously considering getting a tripath type amp but it would have to sound better than my Deluxe Edition DNA.

Different. Not necessarily better. I've owned a decked out 901 and the DNA .5 Deluxe.
The DNA is a very good all rounder.
If you want to stick to SS, a good upgrade without getting too spendy would be something from Odyssey. Beyond that, look at Pass (especially the high bias class A amps if you don't mind the heat).
