D100/D200 and Martin Logans
« on: 9 Dec 2013, 08:59 pm »
A question for those with actual experience: how well do the CIA D-series amps drive Martin Logan hybrids? I searched the circle and found a few remarks (from 2006 and 2007) stating that a few members use them but I don't find any remarks with regard to the quality of those experiences: merely statements such as, 'I'm using the D200's to drive my Summits'. (Well, how's that working out for you?) As a point of reference, I drive my SL3's with a Pass Labs X150 and I like the way this combo sounds. I'm thinking that monoblocks could be an improvement in soundstage/separation. So I'm looking for opinions and experiences.

Our amplifiers will have no trouble driving the ML's.

Thanks for that. Yeah, I'm a long time member over there but a search shows about the same level of response - some folks using them but not much detail regarding how they like them. I guess the fact that they are using them implies they like them. I figured over here, I'd get some info if there were issues driving the load the ML's present.
