Captainhemo ought to get a kick out of this post.
My son bought a house in Atlanta, and I wanted to give him an audio house warming gift. I gave him my Nuprime IDA-8 integrated amp; bought Nature Boy's X-LS Encores that were built by mlundy; a pair of Blue Jeans speakers cables, and <not yet delivered> Rythmik L12 subwoofer.
I got to listen to Jay's X-LS Encores in 2015 when my wife and I visited him. At the time I didn't think much of their sound because they struck me as being brighter than I cared for. Fast forward to last night in my son's new home, and that brightness has all but disappeared. Perhaps, my hearing has declined instead. Dunno and don't care. They sound pretty good!
Most importantly, my son is delighted with his new audio system.
